Literature plays a vital role
in nowadays, because aside from possessing quality and artistic merits, it also
serves as a platform that aims for sustainable development. Literature fulfills
or feed-up education in the sense that it has a significant role in education.
Literature is a record of past
history; it teaches us the values, ethics, culture, beliefs, custom of the
Filipino. The values of Filipino’s nowadays are quietly changed if we have to
give an important emphasis to our moral values.

of teaching extensive reading skills. Learning Literature is important because
students can better understand different cultures or time periods. It also
inspires people especially when reading compositions people can relate it to
their lives and give lessons.
